Very good.
Why are they all from a particular region?
What are the developers developing?

When comparing startups and brains in the tech world in Nigeria, please don’t ever compare Yorubas to any tribe in Nigeria. It is an insult to knowledge.

The Yorubas are now competing with Other African startups and not Nigeria again. In fact, as a tribe, the Yorubas should be at the top 2 with the highest number of successful startups in Africa.

They now have 3 unicorn status company which means each of those companies is worth $1billion.

$4 million for 25 Startups? That's no money at all. Do you think that your share of that money can sustain a 2x2 shop in Lagos State?

Na childishness dey worry most of you.

Do you know the total amount in dollars Igbo businesses use to settle the boys after completion of "Nwaboy" annually?

Yes Shinedu, $1 trillion is the share of money that can sustain a 2 by 2 shop.

Infact one 2by2 shop can buy the whole Dangote refinery and still collect change. Igbo business use $5trillion to settle boys annually after Nwaboy.

We are saying the same thing.
The smartest and the most educated tribe in Nigeria is Yorubas yet they don't make noise nor chest beat.
Yorubas value education a lot.

Congratulations to those that benefitted. However, it is so unfortunate that every discussion on nairaland now must have religious or tribal coloration. Don't be surprised the tribal warlords here can hardly boast of three square meals, yet all they care to discuss is which tribe is better.

Honestly, this is a very sad thing about Nairaland. I came into the thread to read success stories or the start of success and I met ethnic supremacists instead throwing jibes. I won't be surprised if some of these guys have no life outside Nairaland.
