The wise ones say that the grey hair on the head of the elderly people is their crown or glory. Same way the brown roofs on top of many houses in the old towns of Ibadan signifies age, wisdom and glory of the city.

The brown roof is a uniqueness. Although, it is found everywhere in Nigeria whether North or South. It is also a sign of quality and longevity, unlike fake roofing sheets in sales today.
