1. In 1903, US President Theodore Roosevelt sent a US warship to invade Colombia. Because Colombia refused to sign a treaty turning the isthmus over to a North American consortium. US soldiers landed, siezed and killed a local militia commander, and declared Panama(which was part of Colombia then) an independent nation. A puppet government was installed, the canal treaty was signed and Panama was forced to leave Colombia to serve the US.

Interestingly the treaty was signed by the US secretary of state John Hay and French Engineer Phillipe Bunua Varilla. No single Panamanian signed the Treaty. The Canal zone became US property and territory. It had different luxury, Supermarkets and plush homes. All businesses were exempt from Panamanian laws and taxes while Panamanians lived in abject poverty.

In 1977, the new leader of Panama Omar Torrijos negotiated a treaty to end US control over the Panama canal. 4 years later Torrijos aircraft disappeared from radar, crashed near Cerro Marta and his body was discovered near the crash.

2. In the 1950s, new president of Guatemala Jacob Arbenz promised to help the poor dig their way out of starvation and implemented a comprehensive land reform program. United Fruit(an American company) opposed these measures, since they were one of the largest landholders in Guatemala.

United Fruit launched a public relations
campaign in the US aimed at convincing the American public and congress that Arbenz was part of a Russian plot. In 1954, the CIA orchestrated a coup. US pilots bombed Guatemala city and the democratically elected Arbenz was overthrown.

3. In 1969, Muammar Gaddafi became
leader of Libya in a bloodless coup. He transformed Libya from one of the poorest countries to one of the richest. Gaddafi led Libya to secure a major stake in it's own oil and improved Libya's Healthcare and education systems. With literacy rate rising from 10% to 88% while life expectancy rose 57 to 74.

Gaddafi also created land reform and public housing programs.

A few years before his death, he began calling African nations to create an African monetary fund and an African Central bank and later a single currency that would challenge
the US dollar.

In 2011, seeing that Gaddafi wanted to use Libyan resources for the reconstruction of Africa, the US and France precipitated the invasion of Libya and overthrow of Gaddafi. Nato forces were sent to support ground rebels in Libya. Tripoli was consistently bombed for days. Gaddafi was assasinated and Libya delved into chaos. This chaos created an instablity in Libya and an instability in the Sahel region which turned the region into an hotbed of terrorism and illegal weapons trade.

The invasion of Iraq and the outgrowth of Isis, the invasion of Afghanistan, Vietnam, Syria, Somalia, I can go on ad infinitum about the illegal invasions, lies and trickery of the US and the west.

These are countries who have brought immeasurable pain to the people of Central America, Middle East and Africa. And now one man in Russia is standing up to them. And some of you think the best thing to do is to support a country that is responsible for so much destruction and pain. You are supporting the axis of domination of a country that committed these atrocities. And you are opposing the only country standing up to them.

Obama, Clinton and Bush who invaded and destroyed these countries are good men but Putin is the bad man.

They fooled you about Libya, Iraq, Syria, Iran and all the countries they invaded. And now they tell you Russia is bad.

For how long will you keep getting fooled?

1. What has the citizens of Libya and Iraq (just this two) gain as a result of US removing their government and what has they lost?
