PEPT: Only Obi's Mandate And Not Tinubu Can Reunify Nigeria by PoliticalUpdate(m): 8:29am On Jun 27, 2023 |
We have witnessed the sham of an election conducted on the 25th of February, 2023, being acclaimed by a totally and unashamedly corrupt bigots as the best election ever conducted. They are corrupt because they have admitted to being so with the recent revelations by their cohorts; especially by the former Bauchi governor. For the first time in 30 years under democracy, Nigerians are angry and fed up with an election months after it was conducted. You may want to quickly dismiss the fact, but I would prove you wrong. There was a country called Nigeria - one who was globally acclaimed the giant of Africa. However, a set of leaders came onboard and changed the settings of things - setting the precedence for corruption. These guys enjoyed all the benefits of democracy even while under a military rule but failed to do so for the next generation. They ate chicken as tertiary students in the food courts, automatic jobs and a lack of quota system. Easy access overseas, thriving economy etc. Just as we have witnessed the IREV sabotage, so was Nigeria deliberately sabotaged by these particular set of leaders. Here is the problem: Nigeria has a population of over 60% youths below the age of 25. What does this mean? It means that over 120 million Nigerians have no guaranteed future! They are literally have no hope in governance, because those between 26-40 that are graduates are yet to be settled as compared to their counterparts in other parts of Africa. These set of people who are fed up and are still fed were the ones who cued, supported and campaigned for HE Peter Obi. The international observers knew the youths won, but their mandates were stolen. We were not surprised when Sierra Leone was advised to emulate Peter Obi and not Nigeria's Political system. The revolution began with Obi and ends with Obi as President - these is the long term game that the ruling party has failed to envisage. Over 100 million Nigerians openly rejected Tinubu (over 60% votes were against), and majority of them are youths. Their greatest setback was being born to a country that has little expectations of them, but to rob them again the umpteenth time after they have been denied countless times will never be accepted by these younger sets of Nigerians. 1 Like

The 2023 Election was a transitional election because it was an eye opener for the youths; on what goes under their noses evidently. I tell you until Obi is declared winner, there would always be factions. Mad these factions are the future of Nigeria. Over 70% are 18 and under. Please leaders should drop pride above posterity; because we knew what happened. 1 Like |

There have always been factions in Nigeria. There’s faction during OBJS, yardua, Goodluck Buhari and there will always be factions. Nigeria will disintegrate no matter how long. Obis emergence will worsen the fractionalization. Though,he can’t smell it expect for a God’s factor. Truth is bitter. |

PoliticalUpdate:People like you keep on calling the election a sham, but Obi has not been able to prove the election was truly a sham when he was giving the opportunity to do so. By mere calling the election a sham does not mean it was a sham 3 Likes 1 Share |
