Mr Man go and read about Gen Murtala Ramat Muhamed, Nigeria's most honest leader in history, who was asked why he didn't travel with a convoy, and replied that he had nothing to fear from Nigerians because he was not a thief.

One day on his way to work with just him and the driver, he was shot on the Carter bridge in heavy traffic, and that was that.

Others coming after him have learned.

Here no be Canada.

I know you think you're meant to be a slave for elected officials, but others don't think like that.

sad Meanwhile, these leaders don't carry this kind of convoy in a well civilised country like Canada but go begging cap-in-hand for loans thereby pilling debts even as Nigerian Citizens flee in their numbers to go enjoy in such countries. This is why the black continent will forever remain under a spell.

The senseless fellas making these bastards seeing every Nigerian as a moronic cow that can hold them to responsibility and accountability even as rigged in leaders.

My friend stop this your warped propaganda here. Late General Murtala Mohammed was assassinated in a coup de etat quiet alright, but not on the Carter Bridge. Rather this happened @ the Junction between Bank Road and Federal Secretariat behind Dodan Barracks in Ikoyi-Lagos (A monument is there till date).

This was as a result of an internal infighting among the core northern soldiers( spearheaded by Murtala Mohammed, Babangida, etc) and middle belt soldiers: Lt Col Bukar Suka Dimka, Captain Parwang, Lt Williams Siri, etc),

He was killed in the coup because of his leading role in the earlier disposition of General Gowon from the same seat he occupied. Mind you, those days were days of military coups. He came in a hail of bullets and exited via same.

So he wasn't killed because of security laxity because most military leader that came in via coup(especially the violent ones ) have been killed despite taking adequate measures for their own safety( Colonel Nasser, Thomas Sankara, Samuel Doe etc all belongs to these categories). Responsible leadership is all about accountability and the need for public scrutiny which the present generation of so called leaders lack in Nigeria.

Una too dey use Panadol for anoda man headache here in naija.
Event wey don pass we still dey carry am for head.
For info
Tinubu wasn't the only VIP present
The likes of sanwoolu, Hamzat, Gbajabiamila, Ribadu, etal each with their own protocols.

Put in mind that he is visiting Lagos since the handing over so there will be fanfare from the local politicians and as well it's sallah time people will want to associate with him

When we know certain things less is our headache.
Naija presido is like Liverpool, they never walk alone. Know this and know peace

The sad thing is that the man using plenty convoy runs to the country of the man with small convoy for healthcare.
The men with small convoy can sanction and prevent the man with long convoy from entering their country and the man with long convoy will start begging for entry

That is for you and you alone

But for others like me, we can't mention Tinubu in the same sentence with God

Tinubu is a notorious narcotics drug trafficker engaging in criminal state capture. That is the reason why there's more than a hundred vehicle in his convoy

U vote people without business, without name to protect

Tell me if it was Osibanjo or Obi that was caught using 120 cars they would have addressed it , made effort to reduce it because they know the importance of perception

Tinubu knows how he is seen by Nigerians, he has been called thief all his life has nothing to protection

There's a reason Tinubu never won in Lagos - his own backyard. Those who live in Lagos know him better than those who live elsewhere in the country.

The biggest stupidity of the century is expecting a man who purchased the presidency with his hard-earned money to fix the country. You go wait tire!

Hypocrisy is all I see in your post every day.Even Obi will not move with less than 15 vehicles in his convoy presently but you expect the president of nigeria tomove with 5 vehicles?
Most of you will do WORST if you find yourself in the position of Tinubu Today that is the reality on ground.

For your mind now, you think Tinubu arranged 120 cars to follow him. When you get to public office, you will know what is called unsolicited convoy.

At the end, are the convoys of those VIPs not funded from public funds? Same public being told to sacrifice, cost of living skyrocketing.....was that not insensitive?

It just like a father telling his children that there isn't much on him, they should manage whatever is in the kitchen but is seen eating a rich meal with his friends and he gives the excuse that his friends came with their own food!๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„
