Below is a piece of information because most of are very ignorant and illiterates and tribal bigots at the same time. China Has 75% of Lekki Deep Seaport and will be in charge for 45 years. The consortium comprises China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd., which holds a majority share of 52.50%, and Tolaram, which holds 22.5%. The remaining ownership is divided between the Lagos State Government, which holds 20%, and the Nigerian Ports Authority, which holds 5%. Tinubu already sold you as slaves to the Chinese for the next 45 years without your knowledge and you are online hailing and defending him. SMH. I am Yoruba before you start calling me Emeka as you senselessly do to anyone who doesn't support Tinubu including Obasanjo and Aisha Yesufu.

Bro, even in the 50s and 60s, when Nigeria was operating a REGIONAL government, the most innovative and advanced region (remove Lagos), was Western Region of Nigeria; All the best and the first in terms of development, was from that region; 1) Education; everybody across Nigeria aspire to come and study in Western region schools; it was like the abroad school of then to people of other parts of Nigeria from other regions. 2) The best Medical teaching was in UCH, Ibadan and best other courses was in UI. 3) First Television station in AFRICA, not Nigeria, started in Western region, Ibadan. 4) One of the tallest building in Nigeria then, was in Western region Ibadan. 5) The first stadium, was in Western region. All indices of development then in the 50s/60s were in Western region, a region without crude oil then oooo, just relying on Agriculture export (Cocoa), but with leaders that had foresight. Back to Lagos and your Capital Territory, bro Calabar was also a former capital territory, but how market The level of abandonment of Lagos when the capital moved to Abuja, it was only foresighted leaders that we have now, that managed to maintain its uniqueness. The overpopulation on Lagos itself, don't you for once reason that it can and it is a burden on the resources and facility of the State. Bro, don't hate the anointed!!! Shattuck: 4 Likes 1 Share |

Bluntemperor: You haven't answered the questions. Why the lies? When did God establish Atlantic ocean in the heart of Lagos? Do you know the size of the Atlantic ocean and the size of Lagos? How is Lagos the easiest destination to fly to? How did you arrive at that conclusion? NB: is there anything like "deepness of the Atlantic Ocean" in English language? |

Bro, it is you that don't understand that governance has evolved; their is PPP - Public Private Partnership in development. Their is Bilateral, multilateral model. Take Western nations as an examy, the popular AirBus plane European airlines and others use, you know how many consortium with different stakes was involved in the development. The build, manage, transfers model is also not new; most recent prison facilities in America are not built by the American government. Bro, governance has evolved ooo, it takes creativity and wisdom to explore limitations in governance (dwindling resources) and maximize dividends of governance (partnership, leveraging etc). # WAKE UP Electorate: 2 Likes |

It is what is been used to sustain the FG monthly allocation to other revenue moribund states in Nigeria. It is what is been used to sustain the influx of population that keep trooping to Lagos, infrastructure and service-wise; (health, education, roads, transportation, services - waste management, traffic management, better and regular salary compared to other States, better/regular Pension) --- I mentioned things you can see, but so many others!!! bonnyhope: |

wasuka14: Prickie , you are a dum dum, you can believe anything , when did you see Nnamdi Kanu destroying property in Lagos? This is what happens when you do not read of have an Iota of strategic reasoning. Nnamdi Kanu is just a brash , deranged talkative. Go and check the videos of the destruction of Oba of Lagos palace and the interview of the reverred Erelu Ojora , it will give you the idea of the people that burnt down Lagos. You only know how to insult people and write bad English, but your grey matter is degraded to oblivion. Politicians and those evil government folks have fed you with sewage knowing you don't have the capacity to decipher how it tastes. |

alabler:I am not hating I am not disputing the fact that modern leadership played a part in it's advancement, I am also not disputing the fact that the investment of its founding leaders like awolowo and others and the cultural impact, all I am saying is this when you look back you will see that there were a lot of factors which contributed to Lagos status, and I just feel they all just need to be appreciated, without trying to downplay those we think does not fit into the ethnic identity, that's all. 1 Like 1 Share |

kokoA: At least start. If 30% of all the car owners in Anambra State alone buy cars from Innoson, the company will be working 24hrs to meet demand and if the NURTW in Osun, Kwara, Edo and Zamfara adopt Innoson vehicles as their preferred vehicles for Transport Businesses, it will have multiplier effects on the Nigerian Economy. |
