My  with BIS on Glo cannot seem to open the MTN website so much so that even Google cached stuff doesn't show.

Could this be a deliberate attempt to stop Glo users from accessing the information of their business rivals?

its not so. Maybe temporary network problem at ur side. I am using glo now and it opens all the whole nigerian network sites. I even opened mtn site with it now.

I found out that the problem seems to be from Opera the native  browser opens it.

If you are having problem using opera, try Bolt or ucweb.

It may not be so on their BB but its definitely so on their bundled netbook, I had to use proxy for me to be able to open mtn website. Something is fishy.

I guess they are blocking certain ports. It seems to work fine now.
