The Ekpri Nsukara Offot Community in Uyo Local Government Area has felicitated Hon. Otobong Edemidiong on his appointment as the Chief of Protocol to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State Pastor Umo Bassey Eno.  

In a message of felicitation, the Village Head-elect of Ekpri Nsukara Offot, Eteidung Emem Denis Asikpo said the appointment of Hon. Otobong Edemidiong is well merited given his previous record of service.  

“On behalf of the Village Council, Family Heads and the entire People of Ekpri Nsukara Offot, I heartily felicitate with you on your appointment as the Chief of Protocol to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno.

“Without equivocation, your appointment is well merited given your well-known capacity, sense of patriotism, commitment to duties and loyalty as witnessed in your previous responsibilities as Special Assistant to the Governor in the past administration and Executive Chairman of Nsit Ubium Local Government Area, among others,” Eteidung Asikpo stated.

The village head noted that Hon. Edemidiong has been very outstanding in supporting all development activities in the Ekpri Nsukara Offot Community and prayed to God to guide him in his new responsibility.

“Interestingly, you have been a worthy figure in Ekpri Nsukara Offot and have consistently supported all programmes initiated towards the peace, unity and progress of the community.

“Our community is therefore very grateful to the Almighty God for His grace upon your life so far and do pray for His continued divine guidance, wisdom and protection as you discharge your responsibility to our amiable Governor,” he added.
