Bayelsa State. Bayelsa have 940 villages and settlements under it. Ijaws were unjustly balkanized into Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers and Akwa-Ibom States when we are fully together and not even scattered by God. Among the Commissioners in Bayelsa there are ones that come from either Western Ijaw (Ondo, Edo, Delta Ijaws) or Eastern Ijaws (Rivers and Akwa-Ibom Ijaws). No matter the Political Party that win Governoship election in the State. None Bayelsa Ijaw have Commssioner, SA and SSA slots left for them. 1 Like 1 Share |
