After starting negotiations with a Bundesliga team, Manchester City is preparing their opening offer for RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol.

Although City has not yet made an official offer for Gvardiol, they have been informed that the 21-year-old is interested in moving to the Etihad this summer and may be available for the right price.

The highly regarded Croatian center-back is valued at €100 million ($109 million) by RB Leipzig, but it’s likely that City’s initial offer will be much lower.

Josko and his advisors have expressed their desire for a transfer to Manchester City, according to Max Eberl, the sports director at RB Leipzig, who spoke to the Leipziger Volksnachrichten.
