A cousin to a friend of mine found one loan app on playstore called KUDICASH. she borrowed 25,000 to repay 55,000 in a week. I mean its totally laughable who in his or her right mind borrows money to pay double in a week? Long story short one week past and she couldn't complete the payment she paid 35,000.
That was when she found out that the moment she downloaded the app, the app had hacked her phone and copied all her contacts as well as social media handles and pictures.
The blackmail and slander whatsapp messages began to all her contacts.
They even broadcasted sensitive information such as bvn and date of birth on her whatsapp broadcasts.
Another long story short in 4 weeks she has paid 42,000 and they are asking her to pay another 70,000. All for 25,000 naira lent.
And these guys have a call center where they blackmail friends and associates of the borrower insulting them and calling them unprintable names.
This is the new fraud in town.
