The second is hardy and takes time to soften...
The second grows faster than the first
The first has quite broader leaves than the first...
When the second stays longer before harvest, it slightly looses Market value and would be packed as many in one tie or bunch

Just zoomed your "type 1" , I think they are same, just that it looks wrinkled and the camera was not helping.

It is the leaves, they just get weird looking after a while
