WAEC GCE 2023 REGISTRATION 2ND SERIES BEGINS

This is to inform the general public and intending candidates that registration for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates 2023 – Second series has commenced. Registration for the exam currently costs N18,000, sales of pins will close on Friday 11th August and all entries must be uploaded on or before 13th August, 2023. Please carefully read all content of this page to successfully register for the 2023 GCE.

REGISTRATION FOR THE EXAMINATION:
Registration for WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2023-Second Series will be online. After the Registration PIN, candidates should log on to www.waeconline.org.ng for registration. Candidates should also note that the registration procedure has been designed to accommodate biometric features that will be used for validation at the examination centres.

REGISTRATION PERIOD:
The normal registration period is from Monday July 10th, 2023 to Friday August 11th, 2023

MODE OF PAYMENT:
Candidates are expected to pay a registration fee of Eighteen Thousand, Nine Hundred and Fifty Naira (N18,000) only, at branches of any of the following banks or any accredited agent and obtain the Registration PIN and information VCD:

In addition, Candidates will be requested to pay five hundred naira (N500.00) commission to the banks/accredited agents.

WALK-IN-CANDIDATES:
Candidates who wish to register for the examination after the close of entries may be accommodated as “Walk-in-Candidates” provided they register not less than twenty-four hours to the scheduled time of the paper(s) they intend to write. The “Walk-in-Candidate” fee is Thirty Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (N30,500.00) only.

CANDIDATES WITH SPECIAL NEEDS:
Candidates with special needs will also register online like other candidates but they must clearly state their Impairments e.g Visual, Low vision, Spastic, Speech, Hard to hear, etc

WHERE TO REGISTER
Candidates can visit accredited “WAEC REGISTRATION POINTS” nearest to them for PIN purchase and registration.
