OJICAM Commends Gov. Soludo’s Efforts at Tackling Security Challenges in the State.

...........Assures effective representation at the 8th assembly.

The member representing Oyi constituency in Anambra State House Of Assembly, Hon. Innocent Ojike (OJICAM) has extolled the various efforts of the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo at addressing the problem of insecurity in the state.

Hon. Innocent made this commendations today shortly after the mass to mark the commencement of the first plenary session of the 8th assembly in the state house in Awka.

Addressing the fear generated last week across the state over the rumoured attack by unknown gunmen enforcing the one week sit-at-home order by a group of agitators, the member representing Oyi constituency in the state house of assembly expressed his satisfaction with the measures put in place by the governor to contain the situation in the past months as according to him security situations has greatly improved.

Hon. Ojike affirmed that the commitment with which Governor Soludo is tackling the security challenges and bringing it to barless minimal will guarantee the creation of an enabling environment in Anambra, that will be a preferred destination to live, invest, learn, work, relax and enjoy.

“Due to the improvement in security in the state, there has been a high rise in investment awareness, real estate development, emergence of new industries and businesses opportunities amongst others. So we must applaud the governor for his success so far, he said.”

Hon. Innocent further commended the Governor’s courage adding that his doggedness in engaging the security war has brought relative peace to the state now compared to what it was when he took office.

The Oyi Rep expressed appreciation to the men of the various security agencies in the state, for their hard work, insisting that they are meeting up to expectation.

He urge Ndi Anambra to continue to support the state government and contribute their own quota in the security of life and prosperity and building the Anambra of their dream and further pleaded with those spreading fake news to desist forthwith to avoid unnecessary panic in the state, stating that Ndi Anambra should endeavour to alert the relevant authorities whenever they observe any anomaly, instead of spreading fake news that will create fear and apprehension among citizens.

He however called on the federal government and other major stakeholders to support the state security apparatus in the fight against insecurity so as to complement the governor’s efforts to deliver a safe and liveable society for Ndi Anambra.
