Buhler Group in Kano, Nigeria is looking for an skilled and passionate professional to join our team as Grain Processing Innovation Centre (GPIC) Technical Trainee. This is a fixed two years on the job-training program with exciting and rewarding career opportunities. During the program you will be responsible to provide services, and support in the maintenance of the Grain Processing Innovation Centre.

Tasks
-During the 2-year program you will be trained on the below mentioned tasks:
-Install, inspect, start-up, troubleshoot and repair equipment.
-Perform routine maintenance of the hardware and software.
-Ensure the quality of the activities is carried out as per Company standards.
-Coordinate with internal and external customer technicians during startups or maintenance jobs.
-Promotes products, services and other activities to the customers.
-Ensure the required transparency and efficient customer service and support.
-Ensures that client data in CRM is up to date.
-Compliance with processes, procedures, and tools.
-Storage and labelling for equipments and supplies.
-Ensuring smooth workflow by following production planning.
-Maintain the safety standards within the workspace.
-Carry out basic machine maintenance.
-Any other related tasks assigned.

Required qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automation Engineering.
-0 - 2 years of experience in the similar industry.
-Good communication skills in English and Hausa.
