*IS IT A SIN?*

A Christian sister got pregnant and the Church decided to discipline her since she was not married.

When the elders of the Church met and interviewed her, she told them that she has stayed and remained in the Church for several years and no one is marrying her and she is approaching the age of menopause where she can't get pregnant even if married.

So after reading some Christian medical journals on this issues, she decided and did artificial insemination since she too wants a child. She tendered both the medical journals and the medical documents that showed that she has done the artificial insemination from a reputable hospital.

The Sister is pregnant without committing fornication nor adultery with any man.

*NOW, COULD THIS BE A SIN?*

Kindly give your reasons for your answer and if possible back it with Scripture, so that we can learn. You may wish to send to other Christian group and see their position on the matter.
What's your position?

Your opinion with scriptural backing will be highly appreciated.

It's a good thing to have a child, seeing the smile of a baby, the cry, naughty things babies does always makes you feel happy and so you feel like raising yours as a parent which is scriptural.

The true God has set up the standard for raising a child and it's going to be a problem for a single parent most especially a woman to singlehandedly raise a child, that's why it's very important that she should have done that in agreement with a man so both of them can work together as a team to raise the child.

It is a Sin!

1. Fornication not only involves penetration of organs but also the dissemination of sex cell.

2. Who is the owner of the Sperm used aka the fornicator?

Such would only happen among those who believe in one man one wife!

This is a case between a member and the organization she is a member in-- this one no concern God at all. So if the organization decides her actions are against their sect, they have every right by law(and traditions) to cancel her membership. It is that simple. undecided

That's the secret!

Unmarried people are not supposed to think of raising children because the child needs both a father and a mother to care for him/her! smiley

You keep seeking the wisdom of men and not of God that's why you never understand his ways
