Trending videos of police brutally assaulting illegal Nigerian immigrants in Turkey

Videos have surfaced online showing moments Turkish police attacked and brutally assaulted some illegal Nigerian immigrants.

It was gathered that the incidents occurred on Wednesday, July 12 and on Thursday, July 13, 2023.

An eyewitness who spoke with Instablog9ja, discloses that: “Nigerians are having their documents canceled, followed by arrest and imprisonment within containers. Even when they manage to obtain tickets to leave the country, they are apprehended at the airport.

The situation is distressing for Nigerians in Turkey, as they are subjected to physical abuse, tear gas, and forcibly taken to undisclosed locations where they may spend months.

Furthermore, they are expected to purchase their own return tickets to Nigeria.”
