Having won an astonishing treble last season, which included their first ever UEFA Champions League trophy, Premier League giant Manchester City suffered a huge lose earlier this summer as captain Ilkay Gundogan left to join Barcelona.

The German international was undoubtedly an instrumental piece of Pep Guardiola’s side last season, and although they’ve since completed the signing of former Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea as his replacement, Man City are still looking to reinforce that area further.
