Peter Obi Unconstitutional Presidential Petition by helinues: 5:50am On Jul 17, 2023
Why would Peter Obi file a petition against Tinubu and INEC while neglecting Atiku?

A 3rd candidate looking for a stolen mandate, so after winning Tinubu at supreme court, then the battle will now Begins between the 2nd and 3rd candidate... When there is even nothing as such in our constitution.

Even if Peter Obi's petition is substantial, how would one advice the judges to rule on the matter without going against our constitution?

That's inevitable.

A candidate that was short of nothing less than 40k polling unit agents. How would he proof he was rigged as those lacuna polling stations?

Hell in the news, Obi has the right to petition Tinubu whether he carried 30th or 3rd position.
I m not his fan but he has the right to do it.
Also, I m aware he didn't win cos he didn't get the max votes.
However, I m looking forward to hos these two lacunas ll be handled.
1. If Obi ll be disqualified cos he purchased a late LP form.
2. If there ll be a rerun since Tinubu didn't score 25% in FCT.

So after Obi winning Tinubu at the supreme court, then another petition would now follow between Atiku and Obi right?

I don't know about that. But as you can see, Atiku that carried second no too shout. Na Obi scream of pain pass!
From a neutral common man's view, Obi no get that massive followers that are active voters. That's why he lost.
I blv Tinubu won in terms of total no of votes. But how they ll talk that FCT 25% is what I don't understand.
I think there's a plot to favour Atiku.

25% in FCT is not even a case. It's like saying Usa president must secure 25% of electoral college votes in Washington DC.

What makes Abuja different from other Nigeria states to warrant a must 25% votes there?

You should ask those that drafted the Nigeria constitution of 1999.
It ll continue to be a case until something decisive is said about it by this present CJN or a review of the constitution.
Some things are needed to be explained clearly to silence those that will scream fraud!

This is the type of moro.nic topics you wake up to read on non-moderated gossip centres.

A presidential election petition is now unconstitutional because a candidate is challenging the legality and processes of such an exercise.

When the present APC Candidate came fourth in Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, AA, and APGA candidates, all went to court challenging Ihedioha of PDP only. It wasn't unconstitutional then and what has changed?

Original results was used to declared the winner.

The physical results and the transmitted results on INEC server which both was cross checked before announcing the final results

Peter Obi, never came 3rd, from the data available Mr Tinubu rather came distance 3rd, but as usual he used his Lagos money to buy the whole of Inec.

Atiku and Peter Obi have both closed their respective cases without proving how they won the election. So, the idea of the court declaring any of them the winner of the election is out of the equation.

The second part of their plea is to get Tinubu disqualified on three grounds. Shettima’s so called double nomination that has now been thrashed by the Supreme Court. 25% of FCT that the two parties seems to have abandoned as they didn’t push this argument seriously. Even if they’ve pushed it, section 299 already made it clear FCT should be treated like a state so it won’t even matter.

The third argument is to get him disqualified by a combination of certificate forgery, dual citizenship and drug conviction.

The certificate forgery is of two nature. Chicago state university and NYSC. As regards Chicago state university, the University already issued a public statement that Bola Tinubu graduated from the University. That alone is enough to settle the matter. All the gymnastic about the color or font of certificate is nonsense.

On NYSC, I would have expected Atiku’s legal team to subpoena NYSC to prove the authenticity of the certificate submitted by Tinubu but they failed to do that. So, how did they arrive at the conclusion that the certificate was forged? NYSC is the only authority that can confirm the authenticity or otherwise of an NYSC certificate.

On the drug conviction issue, it is as empty as the lawyer PDP brought to as witness to prove the case. The witness simply helped PDP to ruin a case that was faulty right from the start. There was no criminal conviction or indictment in the forfeiture. The communication from the US government to the IGP already cleared him of all allegation.

Overall, Atiku and Peter Obi simply wasted everyone’s time. They had no case of rigging so they had to throw in a lot of allegations hoping one will stick. Sadly, they proved none. The two cases will be dismissed with heavy cost to the petitioners.
