Authentic Cuisine is looking for a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to our customers' satisfaction and ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items to order and to our customers' satisfaction
Ensure that food is prepared and cooked to our high standards and follows all health and safety regulations
Keep the kitchen area clean and tidy, including equipment and utensils
Monitor food inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
Follow recipes and portion controls to maintain consistency in food quality and presentation
Train and supervise kitchen assistants and other junior staff members

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Cook in a catering business or similar environment. Must have experience cooking in bulk
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
Ability to work well in a team environment
Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to read and write English is a must
