Job Role: Quality Assurance Officer

Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Officer supports the promotion, development, and compliance of the company's quality system. Effectively assuring compliance with customer requirements by co-managing quality policies, standards, procedures, programs, and practices while driving and facilitating continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
• Monitors standard operating procedures for Restaurants and other Business operations as per regulatory e.g., NAFDAC requirements. (SOPs for Housekeeping, Water treatment, Storage and Handling, Receiving, Personal Hygiene, Health and safety)
• Effectively supports the Production team to maintain product supply/ introduction of new products.
• Supports and implement QA processes and Quality policy in the Business units.
• Supports Procurement Team to establish quality requirements, then ensures product and stock compliance.
• Prepare and analyze internal and external quality reports for management staff review.
• Supports all Regulatory agency visits (NAFDAC, LASEPA, Ministry of Health, Local Govt. Health dept. Lagos Safety Dept.) to ensure outlet readiness and document availability-Fumigation, water analysis, Food handlers, food safety Fire safety, HACCP plan, EAR, etc.
• Checks compliance to human and environmental safety issues (along with Admin/Maintenance Team)
• Supports training on HACCP/Food Safety and ensures that safe products are offered to our esteemed customers at all times
• Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and training methods.
• Other duties assigned by the Line manager.

Requirements:
• Have a bachelor’s degree or HND in food science or in any related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working as a quality assurance officer in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
