The investigators were specifically seeking computers, laptops, and articles related to Tupac and the circumstances surrounding his death. The collected evidence will be presented to a Las Vegas grand jury for further review.

Despite the search, no charges have been filed yet, and the investigation is expected to continue for weeks, possibly months. The prevailing belief among investigators is that the shooter is likely deceased, having fallen victim to a separate shooting two years after the fatal drive-by in Vegas. Davis’s book was published in 2019 and further fueled the renewed efforts to solve the decades-old mystery.
