terrible goalkeeping

It’s always easy to blame the keeper.Plumtree should’ve done a better job blocking that. She tracked back quite well but failed to defend properly.

The goal came from very UNLIKELY source. Damn, football.

If I was a coach, I would have honestly subbed that Kanu off.

Hat off!

iam not sure these set of players are the best we have in the country.. once you are playing abroad and you have money.. it becomes an automatic ticket for you to play.. it shouldn't be so

Se played and defended very well in the first half.

Plumtree was exceptional in the first half, Chidozie also in form.

Kalu playing like the male Kalu but she eventually did the trick after the switching with Ajibade

Very good first half. Full of tempos

How Kanu drifted to that position will be a puzzle for the scientist to solve for ages.

I just love the confidence and the fitness of the super falcons. I think they can win this game. They are showing the number 10 ranked Australia no respect. I hope my Banyana can emulate the super falcons. All the best to the super falcons.

Na. She's been covering up for that nonsense left back wearing number 2.
She changed position and bang, goal.

They now both need to step up their game.

Up till that goal, she’s really been terrible. Horrible passes and not tracking back well enough. I think she need to switch positions.

Falcons has got what it takes to draw or even win this match. We’ve seen a few glimpses of what they can do when they attack. The girls are good and I believe a very good manager would turn their fortunes around.

Australia were all over them but they held forte. If that midfield organises and find their rhythm, Nigeria will wreck them.

Honestly I dont fancy the coach.

This goal will just paper over the cracks, but we will take it!

Kanu also needs to improve her game

Not a bad half based on the fact that we didn’t concede much goals. I feel we can beat this Aussies if our midfield and attack can just step up. The few time we’ve tried to attack had left the Aussie side confused. We can get another goal if we attack more.

I tink we shld take it easy critisizing d girls, we r not playing an easy team, dey are d 10th beat team in d world...we shld give d girls some kudos...apart frm d poor clearance dat lead to d goal...dey hv defended well...dey jst need a little bit more coordination on d middle...we r really missing d tenacity of dat young girl abiodun
