Dear Esteemed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ,

Your remarkable campaign journey was indeed unparalleled. The comprehensive engagement you had with stakeholders from all sectors, a feat no other candidate accomplished, is a testament to your dedication to fostering inclusive governance. Your announcement of an open-door policy is not only extraordinary but stands as an unprecedented strategy in the annals of Nigeria's government.

With the recent proclamation of a "state of emergency on food preservation," your leadership acumen further resonates, demonstrating that you are not just a leader of words but also one who pays heed to the trials and tribulations of the masses. However, we must address an area of concern...

The approach you've adopted for implementation bears a striking similarity to that of your predecessors, a path whose outcomes we are all too familiar with. Former President Muhammadu Buhari's method of channeling agricultural incentives through state governors is yet to yield tangible results.

Therefore, I implore and propose that you involve the agricultural stakeholders as you did during the electoral period. Let the farmers receive their incentives directly from their respective state associations and national bodies.

This strategy will enable us to reach the genuine farmers rather than the phantom ones who tend to populate the lists provided by some governors. It wouldn't be surprising to learn that a party loyalist, who is a vulcanizer by profession, could receive these incentives before a bona fide farmer who genuinely needs them.

Such a scenario would negatively impact the masses, who are desperately in need of a reduction in the price of food products.

While we remain hopeful for a brighter future, we must be vigilant in pruning the bad elements from our system.

Yours sincerely,
#iambatified
