Oga, this is FALSE.

People who live in Abuja are enlightened. It's not like Ogun where Tinubu will come and scream Yoruba Lokan.

Also, FCT has more security than anywhere in Nigeria, meaning that thugs won't be allowed to run away with ballot boxes like it played out in many places around Lagos. In fact, in my polling unit, the bale asked people to stop voting and fight broke out. That was how guber election ended - fight, disarray, violence and bloodshed.

Besides, election observers always throng Abuja, meaning that elections in Abuja will always remain peaceful, fair and credible because for obvious reasons, the Nigerian government will do anything to look good in the eyes of foreigners.

So, you are totally wrong. What can only work in Abuja is engaging enlightened minds and getting them to vote for your party, not violence.
Oga stop proving what is not visible. Are you saying they Ahusas will not recognise where they come from bcs they are enlighten? Don't allow this concluded election deceive you. Ahusas voted for both Southerners just to make Nigeria one not BCS of any credibility. Tinubu got his own bcs of his political Antennas while obi got his bcs Religion and Ethnics. If the law is implemented No any southern will become president bcs Ahisas are major in Abuja. Al least Yorubas still has little political Bridges but those that have nothing than noise will cry blood without getting anything.

You raise some smart points but you are missing the something
There is sanity in abuja during election becos, FCT is just like any other states to Nigerians ... nobody knows people in abuja have two heads and they are superior humans to every other Nigerians.

BUT the minute FCT becomes the number one state to decide the presidential election in Nigeria,
what do you think politicians will do next election,
How will the electorates handle so much power bestowed to them
Will Northerners ignore the opportunity to cease Abuja to there advantage since it situated in the north.

When its time for election what will it cost northerners to conjest FCT with there population, or was there not a report of high voters card transfer from the East to Lagos smiley

You think other Nigerians we sit back and let abuja alone be dictating our lives ... beta think ahead

Funny man, I believe you have never being close to the FCT. For your information majority of the habitants of the FCT are not hausa's. Also, the aborigines or real owners of FCT (Gbagyi's) are not Hausa's so that you misguided narrative do not apply.
See, life in FCT is moored on corruption. That is one big reason folks who live there will seek to deny any candidate linked to a government that is not largely “business as usual” team. It is not about ethnicity. Tinubu lost at the Aso Rock Polling Unit.

Obi’s case is like someone scoring 65% in an exam but 70% is the cut off mark.

Dude should rest, he gave a good fight but did not win the election, no amount of discrediting both the election and the winner can get him anywhere, kolewerk

Leave him and his followers to be chasing shadows.. he probably thinks Nigeria (36 States and FCT) is tiny Anambra that he won through backdoor court judgement.
A failure that scored less than 5 percent votes in all core Northern states feels a tribunal sitting will proclaim him president just like that. I think we need to introduce brain test for future presidential aspirants cos this one is certainly not normal.

[quote author=helinues post=124586808]Obi is not only clueless but bereft of ideas.

Did INEC tell you they did not transmit all the election results electronically after counting at the polling units .

You lots were relying on results displayed on INEC Irev portal to collate the final results as you were short of ten of thousands polling unit agents to forward the results to them.

Imagine how Peter Obi has been changing basis of his petition. When he was first interviewed immediately after the election, Obi's major emphasis for going to court was because of the low turn out claiming it's questionable considering the number of registered voters, from that to 25% in Abuja, to Shettima nomination to president Tinubu's dead drug case in USA.

How can a grown man like Obi be deliberately deceiving his gullible supporters with his inconsistent claiming of winning the election when he his even yet to tell us which figure he scored to have won the election, which states he got 25% and how he arrived at the figure .

It's indeed true that in the land of blind men, one eye man will always be the king [the useless mods that will ban anyone who speak ill of tinubu will not banned this fool.am a rich igbo man and I swear I will delete my account and live this useless forum if u guys continue to be baised towards igbos ..infact am getting my news from other sources now ...this forum is becoming yoruba forum and I won't take it

Does it mean that Obi/LP didnt have agents on the field? Why is it difficult for them to bring the results their agents have to tribunal instead of chasing shadows?

LP does not have agents in at least 55 percentage of the polling units nationwide according to INEC. So, it is difficult from that angle.

What has the cost of living in abuja have to do with the fictitious and infantile claim that 25% votes in abuja should determines who becomes the president?

How will the "north" do that?

Is it only northerners that inhabit Abuja? Is it only northerners that choose Political Party flag bearers?

Sometimes, try to dey reason before you speak, or write.

How many civilian presidents since 1999 do you know didn't win at least 25% of the votes cast in the FCT?

So why is it that now it is his so-called turn, you want to rewrite the rules?

Nonsense angry

But you people said INEC & Tinubu rigged the election,
what will it have cost an inec to simply dash Tinubu 25% in FCT

Same people crying of marginalization are the very ones spearheading supremacy of One state 36state does that even make sense.

even if a candidate win 36states and does not win FCT, inec should cancel the election .... does that define democracy in any way

so at what point will majority and equality come in

If all other presidents were able to get the 25%, then your emilokan should be able to get it as well if he Trully is as popular as he claims. Since there was no lagos agbero or governor to plan the rigging with like rivers he failed to get the 25%. And because the people of abuja stood to make sure their votes were counted.

Peter Obi and his supporters are yet to show us how he won the 2023 election...yet he wants Tinubu's victory nullified under frivolous claims.

But he has sufficiently proved beyond reasonable doubt how Tinubu wasn't qualified to contest election and Tinubu could not defend his qualification.

INEC cannot prove to Nigerians and European Union who contributed massive cash, how Tinubu won election after being accused of lack of transparency in the election process.

Yet President Tinubu obliterated his rivals in the recently concluded elections and no one has yet proven that the elections were rigged in his favour.

Obidients need to remember that there are more of others than of them and the others have a right to also determine who they want to rule over their great country called Nigeria.
