The bacteria produce spores that could be transmitted through inhalation (difficult to treat), eating (gastrointestinal), skin via cut or sore, and injecting illegal drugs. In the issue of animals dead from anthrax, heat will not inactivate the spores except for high-intensity heat at a long duration. This is scientifically proven. The bacteria are sometimes used in terror/war cases, especially inhalation via letters.

There are a multitude of Nigerians that can easily trace their roots back to the top of their family tree. And all their forefathers ate bushmeat, including Mr. Professor’s forebears! No one in my village has an ancestor that died of anthrax poisoning after consuming a healthy plate of well sauced bushmeat in the past, so who kon spray dem the anthrax today, ni ko’wai??
