Yeah they are run with tax payers money , but do you know how high there taxes are in Germany and those places ?

How many Nigerians pay taxes ? if the government try to make Nigerians pay just 5% of the taxes they pay in Germany that enable them to make education and other services free you wouldn't be able to but you want free education and other services that have the same high standard as that of Germany.

Nigerians want bullet trains but ask them if they will be able to pay the fees to maintain it and cover other costs, we are in a capitalist society not socialism or communism, corruption is a big stumbling block for Nigeria development but when Nigerians are really ready to pay for all these it will ensure more accountability and corrupt politicians and government officials wouldn't be able to easily siphon all the money that are being use to subsidize these services.

Money Oyedepo makes monthly from his church alone is more than enough to run that university perfectly even if the school fees is 50,000 naira per semester.

I used to have to this kinda thought until I rid myself of that mentality with a better understanding of life...

The plan is to collect money from the Rich and give to the poor, the rich has no business with scholarship programs because they can easily afford the fees, but the poor are been compensated via scholarships programs been offered by the University in other to eliminate such disparities...

But if you are waiting for any Private Universities to reduce fees to nothing just for people like you to give sing their praises, then you can as well stick to your achaic mentally, just like I said earlier, it's not your fault, people hate what they don't understand....

If you want quality education then it cant be cheap, bringing down the cost to cater for the masses is a recipe for disaster, why dont you call on the government to reduce the hiked fees in the universities? Do you know what it take to run diesel for 24 hours daily for years? The cost of research and development that takes place there? Do you know why their graduates are highly employable than most government university graduates? The coat alone of paying setting up the place and paying staff is enormous and people that go there know what they are looking for,they seek quality over quantity.
