There are times (rare cases though) when the family of a patient in a hospital might not have money to cater for their brother or sister who is in coma and no helper either and they would be asked to give orders for the oxygen to taken off so the patients can rest peacefully.

The family member of this patient is meant to sign a paper with their signature present which would signify that they gave consent for the termination of the oxygen.

If at the end everything goes bad and they someone change their when the deed is already done the family member that consented to it will be held more responsible and there is nothing the judge can/will do about it.
