Samson Siasia Begs Nigerians
Nigeria coach Samson Siasia has issued an apology to Nigerians after the Super Eagles drew 2-2 against Guinea missed out on the 2012 African Nations Cup.

According to a statement released by the Media Officer of the Eagles, Collin Udoh, after the match on Saturday, Siasia was quoted saying: “We want to apologise to all Nigerians. We have not qualified for the Nations Cup and we take responsibility as a team.
“We did our best, we dominated the game, we created chances, but we failed to take our chances and we gave up a last minute goal.
“We understand the frustration of the fans because they love their team so much. But sometimes, football can be cruel.”

A typical Naija mine , na wah oooo,

The truth about Nigeria is that we have not solved the real problems, we always try to sweep the carpet on top forgetting that under the carpet dirty. Even we bring another coach we will still have same problems.

Most Nigerians are not Patriotic including players, leaders etc

And u ar d typical taking us back nigerian, everything is sentimental, what has patriotism got to do wt dere performance y/day,if patriotism is all dat is needed in football, why do u tink coaches are employed.Dis is a coach dat has received d best terms in d history of nigerian coaches, given a free hand, top class friendly matches played, yet he is d first not able to take us to ordinary nations since 1986,pls dnt get me more annoyed wt ur simplistic approach to issues

I support the call for the NSC to delve into other sports heavily.why is that its only about a dozen nations that play cricket&rugby on an international scale?why not invest heavily in these&other sports?as they are economically viable

Am sure Nigerians have forgiven him that's why he wasn't beaten up but WE CAN'T TRUST HIM AGAIN. We don't want another heartache. He should go and coach the National Police Team am sure they need a lot of discipline there.

Re: Siasia Apologies To Nigeria For Failing To Qualify For AFCON by phreakabit(m): 2:48pm On Oct 09, 2011
Apology not accepted! He should make a personal apology to every Nigerian. Just as he regularly demand his players do to him. WHY THE HELL DID HE CHOOSE to LEAVE VINCENT EYEAMA OUT at this crucial time?
Re: Siasia Apologies To Nigeria For Failing To Qualify For AFCON by Hearme(m): 3:01pm On Oct 09, 2011
Siasia still the perfect man for the Nigerian Job. You cant blame him at all. Football has changed so much around the world. In Africa 'JuJu' inclusive. Is it because the cows that Egypt buried failed them this time around? or Issa Hayatou's Politics been unable to place Cameroon in the tournament, please allow Nigeria to re-group. Even if we qualified we will come 3rd again. AFCON 2012 is for Ghana or Ivory Coast.
Re: Siasia Apologies To Nigeria For Failing To Qualify For AFCON by stagger: 3:26pm On Oct 09, 2011
Siasia should do us a favour by dropping his N5m a month job, giving up that house he was given in Abuja and go back to catch crayfish and prawns in his home state.

After all, Nii Odartey Lamptey of Ghana is selling cows now and he is making money from it. Yes, he was a good player in his time and he knows that in his days, the Super Eagles were more committed, but it is time for Siasia to leave football coaching to those who know how to do it and try his hands at something else.

Both Vincent Enyeama&Dele Aiyenugba should say Bye Bye to Super Eagles, no animal can control the Zoo, we have a generation of proud&Uncommited goats who call themselves Super Chickens,it was very obvious that the coach played his part well, atleast tactically, even Guss Hiddink will not succeed with dis current Nigeria team

You want millions of people to forgive yot when u could not forgive one person. Enyema spoke for the team and he was bácklisted. If saisai does not resigm then nigeria is finished.

Apart from physical, lack of motivation, pride and unpatriotism of the players with indiscipline.GOD is very angry with NIGERIAN FANS OF FOOTBALL.the reason is that football has become and idol that even christians pay too much attention to,4rm year 2002 when pastors brought tv in2 the churches to watch Nig vs ARG MATCHsoccer has become an idol to the world.as a xtian anything that its love becomes a god in ourlives and kicks God out of our life such a thing is an idol.when one loves soccer,do nt go to church cos of it also becomes a fan cos of it then God becomes angry and jealous cos we gv glory to what we should not and we idolise players by hero worship and halo cos of their skill.GOD looks at such a heroworship as abomination in his sight.therefore he seperates ownership 4rm control.he debases the love nd pride of soccer.he makes the idolised best players to nothing and no matter how well they play sometimes they will just lose.pple may nt know that God is angry with soccer fanatics 4 wasting too much attention on it.now in 1st corinthians 1 vs 29 says"that no man should boast in his prescence.hence, any sunday Nigeria will play except God wants us to win we shall loose.also in exodus 32 vs 6 eat ,drink danceand playing is idolatry and without God.such celebration is idolatry.

Its not everyone that knows the truth and its not everyone that sees the other side of things.people only look at the good side of soccer, but it has its evil side.its business and not as before.siasia too may be ignorant of some things.when some 1 knows wat to do and doesnt doit its now evil.dats wat the player's r doing cos they feel 2 big.siasia is an xtian and what has he to do with idol if not that he did not know in this area, well God have mercy.ng football is dead already.money is mw wat matters

GBAM! APOLOGY REJECTED. Am beginning to see Siasia as a sadist. Why did he leave Enyeama out of such game where experience was highly needed? To err is human; to 4give divine. he better take things cool if he wants to go far in coaching the super eagles.
Re: Siasia Apologies To Nigeria For Failing To Qualify For AFCON by barika2011(m): 11:30pm On Oct 09, 2011
Is enyeama the answer to the super eagles? Was he not part of the the team during their other losses for example friendly against argentina(1 -3), no single player is the soul, every one shud be part of the team and dat is what my Siasia is building, A team and not osaze ,enyeama, etc but i repeat a team, though unfortunately NFF as a way of twisting the hand of any coach employed by first giving you a list of its own players on the first day o fthe coach's job
