Bridging claims are the bit of subsidy that is paid to transporters (which may include some marketers) to keep fuel prices equal under the old subsidy regime.

Modifed

The above definition is taken from the article...here is the quote

These claims were a part of the subsidy budget when the subsidy existed. It is why fuel was costing the same across the country before May 29, 2023. Now that that is gone, the price of transport is factored into the price of petrol...a big part of the increase that happened with subsidy removal.

As you can see, the subsidy was not sufficient to cover the bridging claims in its final days...which is why government is still pwing transporters to this day.
Congratulations! I learnt you are on the ministerial list.

Simply put......
What is the margin from the day the fuel price was bumped up till this day......say 60 days.
How much has been saved...for starters
This was one excuse given that there would be savings

Shehu Musa is an African who is a COMPLETE Arabian slave. His first name is Arabic and his last name is Arabic. There is ZERO indication to his remarkable traditional Hausa roots. This is how the Arabs in connivance with the Fulanis COMPLETELY erased the culture and soul of Hausa people. Today, Hausas are mainly known for stoning/burning people to death in the name of the Arab crescent moon god allah. If the Yorubas don't wake up from their sleep, the fate of the Hausas await them.

I pray crude oil should be discovered in the northern part of Nigeria in commercial quantity so that this failed nation can break into various fragment for true peace, progress, unity and development.
Pray from now till eternity, Nigeria is a failed nation, it won't work.

Oilm has been discovered across the North in commercial quantity. The real issue is the coastal port, Amadou Bello only agreed to support Nigeria's independent if the federal government owned the national costal ports and not the regional government.

They are going out of business because they are running out of cash.

The government should pay them their money quick.
But government should confirm first if there is any false claim.

They don't know Tinubu.

They're claiming subsidy to May 2023 when we all know that it was NNPC that was solely responsible.

BAT should now pay for products that were smuggled outside the country.

Now I know why Tinubu had to make the "public announcement" of subsidy removal openly.

I dey laugh.
