Big boost to President William Ruto's plans to deliver on his Kenya kwanza Manifesto after Court Of Appeal lifts suspension of finance Act 2023.Ruto had assented the bill into law on 30 June this year but it received a black lash from the opposition Azimio Coalition claiming he was imposing punitive taxes to Kenyans amid the challenge of high cost of living in the country. Senator Okiya Omtatah moved to the court to seek for the implementation of the law . The High Court suspended the law. Kenya kwanza administration moved to the Court of Appeal to have the ban lifted.
