Niger Republic is a landlocked country. It should be possible for ECOWAS, led by Nigeria, to restore the democratically elected President, Mohamed Bazoum, to power by placing an embargo on the country. Nothing must go in, and nothing must come out except emergency medical supplies. No food, no beverages, no weapons, no cars, no nothing. Niger also depends largely on Nigeria for electric power. Abuja should shut the tap on that until the democratically elected President is returned to office. In addition, the Kano-Maradi rail line construction currently going on should be suspended.

And in addition to the sticks mentioned above, some carrots should be dangled, such as complete immunity for the coup plotters, as well as allowing the ring leaders to leave the country along with a promise to pay them a robust maintenance allowance.

There are other ways apart from military intervention to reverse this coup. Use sanctions and diplomacy to put the squeeze on these guys the way President Obasanjo put the squeeze on the putschists that attempted to overthrow President Fradique de Menezes of São Tomé and Príncipe in 2003.

It is now so obvious that this guy is such a dumb ass, he lacks logic in most of his assertions .

So because there is a coup against a government then the masses should suffer and die. Of a truth, his name is really small goat. Come and see small goat.

The coup plotters don't need Nigeria to survive, their french sponsors will supply all they need through air. Ode Reno

Lol this mumu is blood thirsty. How does Niger being a democracy benefit Nigeria economicly or geopolitically? What did Nigeria lose by them becoming a military dictorship? If you engage in blockade then you're essentially declaring war on them. If he understood the concept of blowback, he wouldn't advocate for this policy.

Nothing must go in, and nothing must come out except emergency medical supplies. No food, no beverages, no weapons, no cars, no nothing. Niger also depends largely on Nigeria for electric power.

• you'll just push them to trade with Benin Republic unless you plan on strong, arming them aswell.
• You'll be wasting money on a train that's supposed to encourage trade with them.
• They're already building a dam to make themselves energy independent of Nigeria by 2025. You'll just encourage them and others to do so faster since downstream Nigeria wants to weaponize it.
• They can also be petty and give support to Boko Haram to fight a proxy war. The Bokogerians do the work of killing your soldiers and draining your treasury.

He certainly has such powers but he might not want to go that route because of three reasons;
1. He is a newly sworn in president
2. He is the new ECOWAS president
3. He is not an ex military general

Copy copy. No where to copy in this case.
He doesn't know anything. Anytime he wants to write on anything, he usually go searching first. No pre-knowledge. He can't outrightly write from pre-stored information in his brains. Always googling. Nothing in his skull at all.
Just look at this post now, he tries to write from his own brains, you can see how illogical the post is.

Sanctions simply mean punishing ordinary people. The leaders won't feel the impact. Pay the junta off or apply military intervention.

The Presidential guards that held the Nigerien President hostage will soon back down seeing condemnation from all angles.. AU, UN, ECOWAS and most European countries have condemned the coup attempt.

If worse comes to worst, na to send one of our Army divisions to go and bombard them there in Niger.

I have a particular dislike for the human being.

Always trying to give off the impression that he's more intelligent, informed and opinionated than others. With his adulterated and often disjointed analyses.

I support his plan actually. We need to take a stand so that other countries will see the repercussions of instability especially in Western Africa. Those military guys are greedy and only lust for power. Such people may rule that country for the next 25yrs in a brutal dictatorship if Tinubu does not act fast. We need to give time for our democracies to mature and evolve. Military cannot be allowed to snatch power anytime one madman thinks he has a right to be a dictator.

No source...

Not that I doubt this senselessness could only come from Reno.

If the urinating machine dares this, he will have the whole of northern Nigeria to contend with. They will parade his mock coffin on the streets of Borno, yobe and Kano before they kidnap his old wrinkled ass.
