This is Cemetery road that has been abandoned since early 2000s.

Work has begun with payloaders and heavy machines at work.

Putting heavy smiles on the faces of traders and entrepreneurs.

Dr. Alex C. Otti is doing exactly what he promised.

#Lifted.

Abia ga adi mma ozo.

Igbos are really intentional on the type of leaders they want. The hunger for good leadership among Igbos is second to none in Nigeria.

I see Alex Otti becoming a modern version of Dee Sam Mbakwe of blessed memory.

Otti hit the ground running because he is well prepared and we'll equipped to govern Abia state. Anambra too is enjoying successive good governance. Ebonyi had good governance under Umahi and Imo too would have enjoyed good governance under Ihedioha who was also loved by Imo people but Nigerian government imposed another person who has taken the state many years backward.

Human capital development

Abia State is already doing well in human capital development.

Their poverty rate is among the lowest in Nigeria. Education enrollment among the highest. Access to quality health care is also relatively good. These are the basics of human capital development and they're good.

What they need is infrastructure and amenities particularly roads, electricity and proper waste disposal, street lights, road markings, side walks and recreational facilities.

Otti is already solving roads and waste disposal. Barth Nnaji is already solving electricity challenges through his Geometric. Aba has the largest SME's in West Africa. So, I see the state achieving greatness soon.

Respect to Otti. Continue like this and see Abia blossom. I wish you can at least patch the road that leads to Rivers and Akwa Ibom state to enhance the movement of goods and services. Aba is well situated for business more than Onitsha if well harnessed.

Agbado munchers will be in pains right now.

Very soon, they won’t be seeing dirty pictures from Aba to post.

All that we will be left with will now be pictures of slums in their almighty Lagos, and brown roofs from Ogbomoso and Ibadan😏.

God bless Alex Otti.

Enugu will soon become an LP state too and start witnessing the Midas touch as well.

Lol.... No need for the comparison. Lagos has gone far ahead.
We commend Otti for what he's doing in Abia.
The task ahead is enormous.

That's a Federal road. But the Port Harcourt road within Aba metropolis long abandoned by previous administrations will soon be fixed by Julius Berger.

[quote author=SmartPolician post=124731695]I was in Aba last year and I didn't like that the road that connects Port Harcourt to Aba was in a bad shape.

Well, that kept me wondering how the state government hadn't seen that they prevent Port Harcourt people who regularly come to Aba to buy things from coming to their state to spend their oil money.

I hope they have fixed it now though.
there is alternative route via Omuma link to Ngorkpala to the expressway down to Aba. Though it’s a long journey
