Throwback to 1997 when a team of 700 Nigerian soldiers under ECOMOG freed Freetown in just 7 days from the hands of military Juntas that had toppled democracy in Sierra Leone. Mind you, the British Army had been largely unsuccessful until Nigeria stepped in. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jDgxH5x1jo 3 Likes 1 Share |

Treasure17:Stepping into Niger is pointless, if Niger is not backed by a Western, they will sweep Niger. You may not like the government, it doesn't change reality. |

The ECOMOG of those days was Nigeria and Mali Mali is now aligned with Niger Republic. In fact, the coup plootters got a go-ahead nod from the Malian junta. So, Nigeria can't do nothing. 3 Likes 1 Share |

phorget:Or they really don't want to sweep Boko Haram? Boko Haram is more powerful than Niger. Boko Haram is a political tool operated by those in power in Nigeria, I'm sure this is not difficult to understand. But I doñ't expect Nigèrians who are always enlightened and experts in all subjects whenever they go online to understand this. 2 Likes |
