In the video below, BBC Igbo drove around Enugu to discover that the city is on lockdown. All major roads in the city are deserted. Banks, Schools and markets are all shut down

Governor Mba will have print more "sealed" notices as more shops then ever have closed their doors.

Enugu is virtually a ghost town as people stay indoors

Im not stepping out of my compound until 5 this evening

The people involved are not complaining so it's pointless carrying the matter for head.

Personally, I am disappointed with leaders like Oby Ezekwesili, Okorocha, etc. Their silences no make sense honestly.

Let me explain what is happening in Southeast to all Nigerians and foreigners that wish to know.

The current sit at home enforcement order is being sponsored by APC government (Imo state Governor Hope Uzodinma is one of them, Bola Tinubu group have a hand in it), and then some criminal elements using the opportunity to carry out kidnapping for ransom have a hand in it also.

APC federal is involved through sponsoring Simon Ekpa, that is why they are not putting in any effort to arrest, indict or extradite him back to Nigeria like they did with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. These evil agents in APC working for the incumbent President through Asari Dokubo and co are doing this to destabilize Southeast and to demarket Peter Obi completely in the eyes of none Igbo supporters supporting Peter Obi.

During Buhari regime, they allowed it because that regime wanted the sit at home and Southeast destabilization to continue to paint IPOB/ESN/Kanu as evil before the eyes of the international community to stop supporting Kanu/IPOB so they could crush IPOB's Biafra agitation completely at all cost.

But Bola Tinubu's interest has to do with the 2023 Presidential election and nothing else.

Hope Uzodinma's involvement was to crush ESN and IPOB to please then Buhari's regime and to also seize the opportunity to crush every opposition in Imo state ahead of his reelection bid come November 2023. To this effect, Hope Uzodinma hired Igbo and none Igbo mercenaries through Asari Dokubo who did a lot of dirty job for him in the name of Ebube Agu security operation in Imo state. These illegal Ebube Agu security outfit formed by Hope Uzodinma, Dave Umahi and others have wrecked havoc in Imo, Ebonyi, Anambra mostly.

Hope Uzodinma's Ebube Agu have killed more Imo youths than any other insurgency. They have their torture and horror camps scattered all over Imo state thick forests and sometimes news media and bloggers mistake their evil deeds as IPOB/ESN. These criminal Ebube Agu security formed by Hope Uzodinma do carry out kidnapping and even unfounded arrests of Imo youths based on false claims and mere suspicion of crime and most never return alive.

The situation in Southeast is really terrible right now, all thanks to Buhari, Hope Uzodinma and other criminal actors.

Nnamdi Kanu also have a part of the blame.

Now to all the unreasonable, heartless, partisan, bias, evil-loving tribal bigots quoting me, God in heaven knows the government-induced insecurity in the Southeast bothers me, like a lot, but then, you can never find a solution to an issue if you refuse to identify the cause of the problems.

If Nigerian government is truly interested in finding a lasting solution to the insecurity in Southeast to return peace to the region, then first step is to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to Southeast Governors and Ohanaeze Ndigbo with a stern warning message and possible agreement.

Why is this necessary? It will help the government to know the true identities of those causing mayhem in Southeast because that useless Simon Ekpa in Finland using dirty money given to him by his evil sponsors to pay some militants to be wrecking havoc in Southeast in the guise of enforcing sit at home order by Simon Ekpa will no longer have credibility to do so as Nnamdi Kanu regains freedom and address his IPOB followers.

If Simon Ekpa then continues with his criminal declaration of sit at home after Kanu is released, then Nigerian government together with IPOB members at home and abroad can then go after Simon Ekpa as a terrorist sponsor.

Releasing Kanu will also help government to now crush any criminal gangs wrecking havoc in Southeast with the full backing of all Igbos at home and abroad. This will bring the insecurity to a halt just as Bakasi Boys did in the 90s and early 2000s.

But if Nigeria's federal government cannot release Nnamdi Kanu to Southeast Governers & Ohanaeze Ndigbo under strict agreement/instruction for the sake of peace in Nigeria and to bring back security in the Southeast, that means federal government of Nigeria is sponsoring the insecurity and foolishly believing that even if Southeast burns to ashes, that it won't affect Nigeria's economy. If Nigerian government continue to believe this devilish lies being peddled by APC sycophants, bookmark this page today, Nigeria as a nation will live to regret this great mistake

The government should swallow the shame pill and free Nnamdi Kanu. He has won in every court the government took him to.

We need to resume our lives normal in the south east. Injustice to one is a cancer to all

I don't even know why the governor is stressing himself tbh...

He is making a storm in a teacup.

Just provide security for those interested in going about their businesses, deal with anyone out to cause trouble, and leave those who feel like taking a vacation from their livelihoods.

When real hunger manhandle them, nobody and nothing go keep them inside house, not even stray bullets flying around. tongue

Igbos has already tag Monday as day of solidarity for Kanu.. that’s plus Kanu .. minus Kanu till he’s out ..

Is a sacrifice they’ve made ..

But anything aside Monday.. bingos can only bark

Any idiot that feels he’s working for Ekpa should pa come to onitsha and try his luck tomorrow.

Let him come and enforce sit at home .. tomorrow or any other day aside Monday…

Fools .. and stupidity
