Why Is Presidential Broadcast In Nigeria Always A Pre-Recorded Event? by Rtk4: 7:33pm On Jul 31, 2023
Whenever it is announced in Nigeria that the president will address the country, Nigerians are made to believe it is a LIVE BROADCAST unknown to then that it is a pre-recorded broadcast, sometimes a day before broadcasting to the public, thereby making it lack naturality, originality and presidentiality.
That's why other media stations are not allowed during the live broadcast except "NTA & Radio Nigeria" who are incharge of the broadcast because it is not a live broadcast.
As a result, any media station broadcasting the speech at the time of broadcast is only following NTA, that's why you'll see NTA logo on every TV station during the broadcast. But whenever we watch presidential Broadcast of the western world, you'll know it is a live broadcast because everything about being LIVE is visible and people are even seen at the background moving and various TV stations present.

That's because those presidents are thoughtless old men. When Obasanjo was president, he used to have an interactive media chat called the President Explains. Then, he would take live questions from Nigerians and explain things to those who didn't understand it.

To date, I don't believe that Nigeria has had a better president than Olusegun Obasanjo. Dude knew how to put his sh*t together and be in charge as the commander in chief! Unfortunately, like a tradition, Nigerian leaders keep getting worse than their predecessors.

For respecting us enough to address us is commendable.
I prefer live addresses though.

most leaders are not really leaders but politicians.
The only president capable of presenting a good speech was Barack Obama.
After him, there is no president that I know of

Make good findings before you comment
