Mark my words, all the nominees…, I repeat, all the nominees shall be confirmed as ministers by the National Assembly. That screening is just ceremonial.
Mark your words?
Even a primary 3 pupil knows this.

May be you are still eating mama thank you and you think is funny with other people. Why is People like you always bringing ethnicity to everything. Even the particular region you indirectly hate ,are far more better than you in all ramifications. It is hardly you see them begging on the street or even here
Offpointng:
Nigerians should not give NLC the opportunity to plunge this country into anarchy like what we've got in the SE. 1 trillion has been saved from Fuel subsidy, why not let us give Tinubu time to manifest bfr protest will be considered??

We can't afford to put this country into a state of anarchy and shift it into being stagnant like what is currently happening in the SE. Yoruba Ronu, Hausa Tunani and let's leave these enemies of state who wants sit at home nationwide by all means with their protest

Yes He did, He is a Leader with results to back His name but He is too much of a risk in National Unity with His preferred Muslim stance and unguarded statements concerning Christians. He needs to be given a portfolio where He will actually work without being in power to favour a particular religion.

Waste of their precious time. cheesy

This'll make El Rufai accept Tinubu's ministerial nomination
Re: Protest At National Assembly For El-Rufai’s Ministerial Disqualification (Pix) by reiddecuti: 5:05pm On Aug 01, 2023
I never see where a ministerial nominee is disqualified by the insensitive, h*pocritical Senate in Nigeria, not when the nominee is one of them.

Nigeria being a country of un-serious people, such will not happen even if there's a need to have Elrufai disqualified.

So, this is a dead case on arrival.

[quote author=Luvinghubby post=124810668]Those statements made by El Rufai in that viral video is enough to disqualify him from any political position.

This is not like the case of Pantami who claimed he was juvenile & naive

Why that of WIKE THAT RIVER STATE IS CHRISTIAN STATE IS NOT ENOUGH TO DISQUALIFIED HIM.

WHY THAT of PETER OBI on election religious war Is not enough to disqualified him.

HYPOCRITE

Nice one! All those who put Nigeria into this economic mess should not smell the corridors of leadership: local, state, federal or international appointment. They should all go home, become entrepreneurs as they touted while in office and see how it feels. Must they do government jobs forever? After milking Nigeria dry, they will tell us they're not Nigerians and point to other countries as their origin, enough of this milking dry of the the country!!! "Let the poor breathe".

I know say some people like you will fall into shenanigan speech of the president that a trillion naira has been saved so far in the expense of the masses.

People like you who don't reason beyond reality are the reason this country is still stagnated.

Before you quote me; it is government responsibilities to make sure there is no leakage in the subsidy regime but they failed because their hands too are soiled. Government went the easy way which is removing subsidy instead of fighting the corruption in it and sanitize the whole system. In his speech, he never mentioned anything about revamping the refinery.

US government subsidises energy, housing, food and even agriculture production, etc. France subsidises energy. Germany subsidises housing, transport, energy. China subsidises energy, transportation — and have gone to the extent of subsidising production. That's why production of goods are way cheaper in China and the reason the item produced in China is way cheaper than the one produce in your backyard.

The truth is that, we don't know the mess we're in already. Even the government have assumed the status of ghost mode and have left the entire running of the sectors of the economy — education, market, transportation health and even the energy sector — in the hands of individuals who determines the market price. That's what you get when government ghost mode. Schools – private secondary to private universities, even the FG unity schools and government universities are hicking up prices like the gate of hell has open. Foodstuffs is beyond the reach of many in the market. What about transportation.

Abuja city that's always bubbles, come and see how deserted it is. I still imagine how other cities will be.

The truth is that there's no way the government will ghost mode things and abandon their responsibilities to market forces and you expect thing to be normal.

I don't expect much different from this government, not that I'm a pessimist. His speech is a normal rythorics we've been having from the previous governments. Nothing new. If so, why did he wait to the eve of NLC protest date to address the nation since he the announcement of subsidy removal on his inauguration.
