*Ministerial List: Coalition of Niger Delta Organizations and Activists Laud Tinubu over Lokpobiri’s Appointment*

The Coalition of Niger Delta Organizations and Activists (CNOA), in a Press Statement, in Asaba, on Thursday, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, for the nomination of Senator Heineken Lokpobiri for ministerial appointment, noting that Lokpobiri’s nomination further “reinvigorates the hope of the Niger Delta region in the ability of the President to assemble a team that has the capacity to confront Nigeria’s many challenges”.

In the Press Statement, the convener of the coalition, Comrade Maximus Harcourt-White, said the appointment of Senator Heineken Lokpobiri; the first indigenous Speaker of Bayelsa State Assembly, a trained lawyer, former Senator representing Bayelsa West district, former Minister of State for agriculture, and Illustrious son of Ijaw nation, adds more credibility to the appointments made by Mr. President so far.

According to Harcourt-White, “the appointment of Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, is well received by the good people of the Niger Delta region who view Lokpobiri as an unusual politician with the capacity for excellent service delivery in any assigned role”

He, therefore, urged the President to take into consideration, “the rich credentials of Senator Lokpobiri as a trained lawyer who has requisite experience in both the legislative and executive arms of government, and assign a very big ministry to him to enable the vast majority of Nigerians feel the positive Impact of his huge potentials”.

Harcourt-White further expressed the coalition’s optimism that: As a result-oriented, thoroughly detailed, productive and purposeful technocrat, Senator Lokpobiri who consistently delivered in his previous roles with unparalleled distinction, will bring his experience and capacity to bare in helping Mr President deliver on his social contract of *Renewed Hope* with the Nigerian electorates.
