The country with the highest Uranium deposit in Africa with a huge landmass is not one you want to threaten with electricity supply, Russia can help them build solar and nuclear reactors in the Sahara desert even if the Nuclear reactors have issue it won’t be very damaging.

Now on the side of Nigeria the intended pumping of Natural gas to Europe would be halted, even if Tinubu recognizes the Junta, Russian presence means that they won’t be a puppet to Nigeria or the West given the Energy and economic interest here, the best option for Tinubu is invasion which is very ill adviced or forgo the billions of dollars at stake especially when gas is the future.

It is not going to be easy, even fighting them with Russian interest and presence is going to be tough, it won’t be a short and easy battle like we want to make it look but not fighting is as dangerous as fighting. Nigeria is using the Electricity as sanction chip but if they decide to set up a nuclear reactor, what would you do, they already have the raw materials, if Russia leads that and send Engineers nothing you would do, didn’t Russia send Tactical Nuclear weapons to Belarus, we just pray Nigeria invades before it gets to that stage or there should be a way around to stop them.

Niger and Namibia are the only uranium producing African countries.
