Former governor of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje has been elected as the substantive national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Ganduje’s emergence was confirmed during the APC National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton in Abuja on Thursday. The meeting which was chaired by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was also attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima, members of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, and members of the party in the National Assembly, among others.
