Illegality or shady dealings are not good but Government can take over this Local Refineries and issue it out with Operational Licence to Potential certified Refiners. It will reduce reliance on foreign Refineries to refine our Crude Oil and Reduce unnecessary Expenses

Govt has made private refineries lucrative, now they are using the military that supposed to be securing the country to destroy people's private enterprise.

I fully support these private refiners as they could sell fuel at a price Nigerians could afford.

There are so many taxes and charges in imported petroleum. The foreign country where the product is refine will collect taxes. The vessel owner will add demurrage, loading and other charges.Nigerian government and nnpc will also collect taxes and other kickbacks. But when it is produce here it is only the government that will collect tax and the price will come down.

Improve on what? You don't know how they look like, there's nothing to improve on them.

Those illegal refineries steal crude from the legit tax paying oil producers to conduct their illegal business. Those asking the government to permit their sabotage should put that fact in mind. Illegal refiners are thieves and criminals nothing more.
