Yesterday morning, a passenger took an Air Peace flight from Abuja to Port Harcourt. During the journey, a man named Mr. VITALIS NWANBUZOR (dressed in a blue traditional outfit) as seen in the video, removed a fellow passenger's laptop bag from the overhead storage compartment. Inside the bag, he found a brown envelope containing money which he took. Subsequently, he relocated the bag to a different storage area and moved to an unoccupied seat at the rear of the plane.

Upon arrival, despite an official announcement instructing passengers to disembark in an orderly manner starting from the front, Mr. VITALIS was one of the first individuals to leave the aircraft.

Fortunately, Mr. VITALIS was apprehended, and the stolen money was recovered from his possession. Various currencies of different denominations were discovered on his person.

Despite his polished appearance and responsible demeanor, it serves as a reminder that appearances can be deceiving, echoing the wisdom of the saying "do not judge a book by its cover."
