You just said my thoughts. Tinubu has made it clear he wants Nigerian to compete with Russia in Europe gas market.
Whilst the west also needs to break away for their dependency on Russia gas , an autocratic Niger with Alliance with Russia might be barrier to the project.

It's just disappointing that any country allowed war to sneak in to Africa.

Now that Niger has decided to allow whatever is going on there to happen, president Tinubu needs to go with what the ecowas is doing minus ground troops. He can also use his own executive power at home for all kind of sanctions.

Foreign troops can only go into Niger if a section of the country requests for their help, this is not Iraq or Afghanistan where they can claim counter attack.

Quite educating......used to think the Gas pipelines to moroco will pass through Niger now I know better.....we are even trying to help them and they are grandstanding.
While I lived in Katsina I used to see how our people export almost all basic things there.....
These are the same people Buhari got into trouble with Nigerians trying to link them with rail......Nigerians didn't see the economic benefits the only thing on their mind is that Buhari is constructing a train to Niger when all sections of Nigeria don't have train yet.
I know the west Africa gas pipeline has been supplying gas along the west African coast for sometime now.....hopefully very soon it will reach Moroco and eventually europe
