My gear box had an issue and I was managing it till when money comes. I noticed little leakage of transmission oil where I parked it. Yesterday I was to drive out, engaged gear but car doesn't move nor reverse. I thought the oil was low so I had to top 3litres of transmission oil and nothing happen. I guess its time to change the gear box.
Who knows how much please ?

Mind you, the car doesn't have a dip stick to check the gauge.

let me give you a purchase hack.. you sound like you don't have all the money in the world to spare..

Go to Ladipo market, mushin, ask for where they sell Kia products, don't let them take you, let them show you/describe and use your instinct..

wear not so clean cloths and tell the shop owner that customer is outside looking for kia gear box and ask him how much price you should give him.. do this in 10 different shops or more, you will get the best deal and sav 50-100k
