In a bid to help Niger Republic address her security challenges, Nigeria spent N1.4 billion of taxpayer's money to purchase vehicles for Niger Republic, yet you think Nigeria does not have a right to ensure that country does not descend into chaos? Lol. Make una dey play! πŸ˜‚πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬

I guess Nigeria was done addressing their own security challenges so they have to extend the good gesture to Niger... Another bad investment by the APC administration.

It was Buhari.

Why are you scared of calling the name of the person who did that?

Often times in our simple lives we can’t see the bigger picture and need to dig the surface to see that we need to have faith in our leaders.

We join to fight insecurity in the Sahel region before they reach our borders and our gas pipeline goes through their country so we pay royalties, our dam etc. Often times they are mutually beneficial reasons.

In as much as I would love to agree with you but unfortunately our government cant be trusted even one bit, talk about bokoharam they will tell you its politics.

Even with so much expended in taking care of other country's internal security what have we been able to achieve? I still believe we should rather first take care of our internal problems before extending same to other places.

You need to read to understand

1) There is insecurity in the Sahel region which has already trickle down into Nigeria funded in large part by the western world and China wanting people to go and harvest natural resources for them off grid at cheap rates hence Boko Haram, Iswap and others.

2) The pipeline is being built and we need to pay royalties to Niger

3) When we were building kainji dam Niger did not have money to do this for themselves so we came to an agreement with them we build and give them electricity cos if they build again it will affect the functionality of the kainji

All of the above has already happened and affect out internal security and ability to provide for ourselves. It’s not only about food and petrol.

When Buhari made that mistake, it was we Igbos that called him out, today those cowards from the west are trying to use it against Igbos just because we refuse to support a needless war
