Nigerian University Students Thinking About Themselves And Others by Emmex45(m): 3:21pm On Aug 05, 2023
Students from various university programs and how the think about others and how others think about them, find out from the few research I conducted.

1) MBBS students:other see MBBS students as rich and intelligent and privilege while they see themselves as future multimillionaire.

2) Engineering students: others sees them as mathematician and intelligent students while they see themselves as someone who can work anywhere, they also feel they are closest to MBBS (i.e for those who don't like medical field), they also feel that jobs is abundance for them in Nigeria.

3) law students: they see themselves as the best course in the field of art, they mostly has principle in which they follows meanwhile we see them as soon to-be successful lawyer.

4) vet med students: they see themselves similar to MBBS while others vet med students see themselves as more intelligent and more indemanding in the Nigeria market. But we see them as medical doctors as well( I.e sees vet med and MBBS in equal wavelength).

5) Biochemistry students: sees themselves as low key doctor because the know things about health, others use BCH as gateway to health college. We see them as normal university course program. Professional programs like engineering, agricultural, environmental etc, see BCH as waste of time.

6) Agricultural students: they feel they studies professional course. Some professional course like engineering, law and health college see it as waste of time because learning how to farm is very easy; other courses like biology, physics, mathematics, etc sees agriculture students as farmers and will rather prefers to study something else.

7) Education students: see themselves possessing two degrees, that is, their primary assignment( teaching) and their course/subject specialization. Other courses sees education as dumping ground for students.

cool science subject specialization students( mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, etc): professional course see them as time and efforts wasting because there are professionals courses working in that field leaving them jobless but they sees themselves as people capable of working everywhere.

9) Businesses and management course: other science course see them as time wasting because with a brief/short duration ( less than 1 year) course, your can work in their field without stress. While they sees themselves as opportunist because the can work in any place.

10) social science students: see themselves special because they feel they can work anywhere in Nigeria but others sees them as maybe their field of working in Nigeria is scarce.

11) history, languages, and others: they feel they can work in media houses and international organization but others see those courses as waste of time.

12) other health college courses: they sees themselves privilege because they can easily secure job in the health sector while others sees them as those who tried MBBS and failed but get something similar.

After all these, which suggestion is wrong and which is right and add your suggestions also..
