Ukodhiko salutes Sen. Ighoyota Amori at 71

Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, House of Representatives, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko has congratulated the National Chairman of DC 23, Senator (Dr.) Ighoyota Amori who clocks 71years on Tuesday .

Ukodhiko in a statement in Abuja described Chief Amori as one of the staunchest leaders of the People Democratic Party in Delta, and an exemplary politician with unrivaled leadership qualities.

He extolled Sen. Amori for his significant contributions to the progress of the People Democratic Party when he served as Deputy State Chairman of the party in Delta State, political adviser to former National Chairman of the party, and later Deputy National Organizing Secretary.

Ukodhiko noted that, “As an Urhobo patriot and nationalist, Chief Ighoyota Amori has also made invaluable contributions to the infrastructural, human capital development and political advancement of the Urhobo ethnic nationality.

“Chief Amori, as a Civil Commissioner for Education, Water Resources, Senior Political Adviser and Chairman of the Board of Delta State Capital Development Agency, served the State with uncommon patriotism and he was pivotal to many developmental policies and programmes of the government.”

According to the Isoko federal lawmaker, “over the years, Senator Amori out of exigencies and imperativeness has had cause to promote the political interests of the Urhobo nation in various political platforms, the defunct Urhobo Political Forum, and now the DC 23 group.

“I must commend Chief Ighoyota Amori for his political sagacity, unwavering disposition, uncompromising stance, and commitment towards a united Delta State and the promotion of the view that all Deltans as stakeholders can aspire to become Governor based on equity and fairness.

“On behalf of the good people of Isoko Federal Constituency, I send warm felicitations to a great Deltan, astute administrator, a political strategist, and prominent elder-statesman, Chief (Sen.) Ighoyota Amori (JP), the Otota of Mosogar Kingdom as he turns 71.

“Dear Senator Amori, as you celebrate your 71st birth anniversary, It is our ardent prayers to God to grant you bouyant health and sound mind in your service to the Urhobo nation, Delta State and Nigeria at large.” Ukodhiko added.
