Please tell me which nation in the world is not battling with electricity in the world. Smh.

Just like most nations, we are not battling with electricity in the whole spectrum. UK for months now has had most electricity companies folding up and returning their licenses to their regulator Ofgen.Try and read to understand and not be too quick in lamenting.

For years now, we produce more electricity than we need by the time you add all forms of energy we generate and use in all electricity
generators nationwide but electricity is more than generation.

We produce even more electricity than we need but some zones are not investing in such critical sector and for that reason the electricity transmission and distribution is not efficient. Imagine if Anambra had invested the money Mr Obi sank in a beer-making International Breweries plc to prepare ahead for this kind of opportunity.

Just to enact laws for state electricity market, it is just a handful of 3 states ,Kaduna,Edo and Lagos, have state framework for their electricity market yet state legislators of most states can do the job. That's why it's not just to lament and go. Understand the issues and suggest if you have anything to offer.
First of all find out what countries like Brazil, Egypt, Morocco and SA with smaller population generates then come back to read what you wrote if it makes any sense to you.

Electricity is one of the major problems we have in Nigeria

It's not! Corruption is the only and major problem we face as a country, once we overcome it, every other thing will work.

Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa states should be making that list also based on their monthly receipt from FAAC.

Multiply the amount above by 5 when the political thieves are going to start giving out such contracts.

This is another avenue for them to collect and loot loans the coming generations will have a hard time paying back.

How about the drug baron that built Lagos from scratch couldn’t do it, even after selecting Lagos State governors for 16 years they still can’t do it .

Because we are stuck in the past. Other advance countries have adopted better methods of generating power. You can't see overhead transmission lines in the US or the UK anymore.

Do we have light in Nigeria? Why do you people always support evil? Are you happy with the current situation of Nigeria?

May you die by accident before this year end for supporting this evil in Nigeria because you're gaining from the politics

None of those two states have a state electricity market and law in place. Go and read the electricity law, only 3 states were excepted and unfortunately the only state with the state law in SS is Edo yet Edo can not afford transmission. Delta and Rivers can afford but have no state laws in place.
Again, you need to read to understand my point before lamenting. It's a wake up call to your mediocre leaders you keep making excuses for.
