Worried by the delayed clearance for immediate past governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir el-Rufai, a group, el-Rufai Legacy Promoters has tasked security agencies to do the needful by identifying those behind the scenes trying to rubbish his hard earned political fortunes.

The group expressed this in Kaduna on Friday, at a press briefing.


"We are calling on security agencies to double their efforts in identifying individuals or groups who want to by all means, destroy the political integrity of our leader," the group said.

Nuhu Sani said that they remain hopeful in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's capacity to deliver, however, he must not allow people who do not wish Nigeria well to sabotage his efforts, suggesting that el-Rufai is one of those that can contribute immensely to the administration.


"Mr. President Sir, we are confident in your capacity and ability to deliver on your campaign promises of making Nigeria great through your laudable initiative of Renewed
Hope, as such, you must not tolerate any evil agenda by some few who want to sabotage
your giant steps in building a new Nigeria.

"Mal. Nasiru is an intellectual of kind, a developer, master of renovation and Innovation
one in a million, a great leader worthy of emulation, whose initiatives are spectacular.
Your enemies will not end well and their evil aim will never be," they said.


The group at the press conference in solidarity of Nasir el-Rufai whom they described as their leader, hailed Tinubu for nominating him as a minister.

"On behalf of the good, hardworking and politically oriented people of Kaduna State, we are fully in support of Mal. Nasiru el-Rufai's Nomination by Mr. President and we want to appreciate him for that noble opportunity.

"We will continue to support individuals who have demonstrated high level of professionalism, political capacity and excellent track records of wonderful performance and achievements.

"el-Rufa'i did not only transform Kaduna into what it is today, he has revived the iconic and developmental lost glory of the North and as such, no amount of intimidation, sabotage and blackmailing will stop his prudent legacies of good governance to prevail.


"He is bridge builder whose efforts in unifying Nigeria is second to none," they pointed out.


They vowed that they will not in any given circumstances, tolerate any form of political blackmailing and irrational propaganda capable of promoting disharmony within the
society.

"Kaduna as a cosmopolitan city is lucky to have the likes of el-Rufai and we will continue to celebrate him by acknowledging his efforts in laying a solid political
foundation guided with mentorship," they vowed.

What Rufai said is not that different from what Kanu has been saying and he is in DSS detention.
