Africans, Americans, Europeans, United Nations and the world powers - The question is: Why are you ignoring the simple, efficient and war less solution to the military coup in Niger Republic and beyond.
The western world and ECOWAS already knew that all military coup will end up by handing power back to civilians in a peaceful and constitutional way as all the reason for the coup are being addressed.
A simple and efficient solution which is always effective to a military coup has always been to give the coup ploters a reasonable and peaceful time to hand over power back to the civilians without any form of military confrontation.
Corruption, impunity breed military coup. Former head of State Olusegun Obasanjo and Abdulsalami Abubakar who handed over military power back to the civilians within one year are living examples and should be consulted for negotiation, dialogue and peaceful transition of power not only in Niger but from all African military take over back to civilian government without a shed of blood or destruction of properties.
Like senator Orji kalu said, as well as all well meaning people of the world, that war will never solve this problem rather a dialogue to addressing their highlighted issues and a time frame to hand over the power back to the democratic people of the country.
Coup is better being prevented than the inefficient war to stop it.
I will never support coup against any civilian government neither will i support any form of abuse of power in the name of civilian government.
